The first-ever Tsinghua PBCSF (People's Bank of China School of Finance) Global Finance Forum will be hosted at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, from May 10 to 12. The forum is hosted by Tsinghua University and co-organized by Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance and the Tsinghua University School of National Finance.
As a representative of the world's emerging economies, China has been in the spotlight especially since embarking on a new round of economic reforms after the historic Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee last November.
The forum will focus on the new ideas, trends, practices and driving forces in China's financial reform. It features three major themes: China and the world, reform and practice, academic study and practical work.
High-level government officials from the People's Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Insurance Regulatory Commission and other prominent financial institutions will attend the forum. International experts from the U.S. Federal Reserve, International Monetary Fund and scholars from prestigious universities are also invited to the forum.
In addition to the general meeting, the forum will also feature a raft of sub-forums, seminars and academic meetings for the attendees.
