Abstract

China has engaged more fully in, and even taken initiatives for, regional and global multilateral processes recently. Multilateralism is now not only entrenched in China's new foreign policy concept, but also a proven technique to enhance its own influence and temper other countries' influence. China has every reason to pursue this approach, two major examples of this new type of activities are 16+1 strategy for Central and Eastern Europe and the Silk Road Economic Belt for new Central Asian countries. We are now facing a unique opportunity of China's reformulation policy towards Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The rediscovery of China by Poland and serious hopes link to the economic cooperation between Poland and China.Poland has turned out, paradoxically, a success during the economic crisis. Modern Poland means opportunities to China with steady economic growth prospect. For Chinese companies, esp. those from western provinces of China,"go global" could easily mean"go Poland". Moreover,"from Polandrization to Europeanization" could be solution to tackle forthcoming challenges to be posed by Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership between European Union and United States.
