On August 28, the image and uniforms of volunteers at the Tianjin Summer Davos Forum 2014 were launched. Volunteers for protocol, forum and urban operation will wear different uniforms, i.e. Chinese cheongsam, Chinese-western formal suit and vibrant sportswear respectively.

The costume of volunteers for protocol adopts traditional Chinese cheongsam, whose main patterns have combined digital printing with manual embroidery technology, with jade white background and jasper borders, showcasing a graceful and pretty female image in the traditional Chinese culture and the dignity and elegance of a protocol volunteer.

The male volunteers for the forum will wear the Mao suit and western trousers to show the feature of traditional Chinese clothes, while their female counterparts will take on a tailored jacket matched with a red or green dress, which are in good taste, natural and brisk, integrating functions and modernity into one organic whole.

The uniform of volunteers for urban operation is a suit of vibrant sportswear, in sunny blue and white, standing for the healthy, upward and advancing image of Tianjin youth and also embodying the soaring tendency of sustainable growth of global economy driven by the Davos.

The 890 excellent volunteers for the Summer Davos are selected from over 30,000 applicants. They will provide services in various perspectives such as foreign language translation, dispatching, logistics and urban promotion etc.
