Preferential terms to open future accounts has been recently given to enterprises registered in Hengqin in order to support the establishment of the Hengqin Free Trade Zone, according to the Zhuhai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC). These enterprises will be exempt from initial account opening fees during their first year, cutting costs by thousands of Yuan, before July 8th 2016.
Within one week, the Zhuhai Branch of ABC has exempted over 20 enterprises from charges of more than 30,000 yuan. "The policy is quite beneficial to us," said a manager of a small-size enterprise in the Hengqin FTZ who opened a settlement account for his corporation and confirmed online banking, "and multiple services are also consumer-oriented."
Seven categories of charges can be made exempt as a means of drastically decreasing registration costs for enterprises, including charges of opening settlement accounts for corporations, maintenance costs, electronic bill services, online banking security costs, annual online service fees, telephone banking services and notices via message.
Additionally, enterprises are entitled to enjoy the preferential terms during the second year as long as they apply for the preferential service package. Inclined to personalize their services through more flexible packaging and combinations, the Zhuhai Branch of ABC is dedicated to answering the needs of corporations economically, efficiently and comprehensively.
