Top 5 Chinese smartphone vendors in Kenya

As the Chinese smartphone market slows down, more vendors are eyeing overseas markets.

In east Africa, Kenya has seen five Chinese smartphone vendors enter its phone market, according to Xinhua News Agency. Let us have a look at these early birds.

The ranking is in random order and does not reflect the market share of the vendors.

Huawei

Huawei, which tapped the country sometime in 2010, sells phones ranging from $60 to $681.

The phones, just like many other Chinese brands, are normally conspicuous in different shops because of their widescreen (six inches), cameras and other features.
