China crude oil output up

China's crude oil output edged up 2 percent year on year to 195 million tonnes in the first eleven months of 2015, new data from the country's top economic planner showed.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said that China refined 436 million tonnes of crude during the period, up 3.1 percent year on year.

Output of refined oil products gained 3.9 percent to 274 million tonnes, while consumption of refined products rose 1.1 percent to 253 million tonnes.

In the same period, natural gas output rose 3.3 percent to 119 billion cubic meters, while imports rose 4.7 percent to 54.4 billion cubic meters.

Consumption of natural gas climbed 3.7 percent year on year to 165 billion cubic meters, according to the NDRC.
