BAICBJEV Co., Ltd. (affiliate to Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd.) on Monday officially launched its all-electric vehicle EU400 with long-lasting battery life that enables the vehicle to keep running 460 kilometers nonstop at a constant speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The vehicle can run 360 kilometers nonstop in regular mode.

Of all the 41 models of new energy cars listed by Beijing, most of them have a range of less than 300 kilometers. Only a few cars, including the EH300 of BAICBJEV, e5, e6 and Qin EV of BYD and Tesla have a range beyond 300 kilometers.

BAICBJEV said the company expected to sell one million new energy vehicles inside and outside China by 2020. The company’s time-sharing rental platform, which is being tested, will enable the sharing of idle vehicles, parking spaces and charging poles in future.
