In March 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping unveiled to the world for the first time the vision of building a human community with a shared future. As the biggest developing country, China has joined hands with other developing countries for development while maintaining steady growth. In the meantime, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has functioned as an essential platform for continued cooperation. What development opportunities does the initiative bring in the past decade?

Focusing on the main structure of "Six Corridors, Six Roads, and Multiple Ports in Multiple Countries," some landmark projects have made substantial progress: China-Laos Railway is in operation, and construction of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway and China-Thailand Railway is in steady progress. The China-Europe Express Railway has dispatched 57,000 trains and has reached 196 cities in 24 European countries. These projects secure smoother logistics and stimulate cross-border trade among participating countries.
