Hangzhou Bay Trans-ocean Bridge to Be Completed

The main bridge tower of the north Navigation Opening Bridge, part of the Hangzhou Bay Trans-ocean Bridge, on October 22. The 'ceiling' will soon be placed on the Hangzhou Bay Trans-ocean Bridge.

The Hangzhou Bay Trans-ocean Bridge is the world's longest trans-ocean bridge under construction with a length of 36 kilometers. The bridge will carry six lanes of traffic going in two directions traveling up to 100 kilometers per hour. The bridge is expected to be completed in 2008.
