Plane runs into cleaning vehicle in Hong Kong

A plane ran into an engineering vehicle at the Hong Kong International Airport here Tuesday morning and no one was hurt, local cable television and radio reported.

The accident took place at about 11:00 a.m. (0300 GMT) when the wing of an Air China's passenger plane arriving from Tianjin Municipality collided with an engineering vehicle at the parking apron.

All the passengers have left the plane safely and no one was hurt during the accident.

The Hong Kong Airport Authority and sealed off the parking apron to investigate the cause of the collision.
