Chen Xiaowei, general manager of CDC, ex-presient of China.com and ex-president of The9

 

Chen Xiaowei joined the9, an online game developer and operator, as the president on May 16th of 2008. She was in charge of the company's routines and strategy planning. On May 16 of 2010, she left The9 and decided to join in Orange Sky Entertainment Group as the CEO of it.

According to the industry source,Telstra planned to appoined Chen Xiaowei as its China CEO.

Chen Xiaowei served as the president of CDC Games, a leading publisher and operator of online games and China.com prior to joining The9 as the president in 2008. From August 2003 to June 2005, she was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York. Prior to that, Ms. Chen served as anchor and executive producer at China Central Television (CCTV), as well as an independent TV producer.

Chen Xiaowei was honored Chinese Most Contributing Woman 2005 in February 2006. After that, she joined Mckinsey NewYork as the consultant of media and medical industry. In July 2005, she became the general manager of CDC, and became a professional manager.
