"We will try to help them in forgetting the unforgettable," said Istvan Ujhelyi, deputy speaker of the Hungarian Parliament and founder and chairman of the youngest Confucius Institute in Europe.

Ujhelyi said his country is very sympathetic toward China's recent earthquake and this will be one of its aid efforts. "Because famous Chinese writer Lu Xun also taught us to 'save our children,'" he said in using a quote from Lu Xun's "A Madman's Diary."

Ujhelyi was in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, to attend the 4th China-EU High-Level Political Parties Forum,as one of the forum's young leader representatives.

He said he hoped China and the EU could learn more about each other to facilitate their future cooperation in various fields, based on mutual trust and dialogue at the China-EU Young Leaders Dialogue, panel discussion of the forum.

"Confucius said 'First he practices what he preaches and then he follows it," said Ujhelyi. As a young decision-making leader in Europe, he is eager to learn more in order to achieve more. European representative of the 4tht China-EU Political Parties Forum showed great concern towards China's Lushan earthquake and donated money to the quake victims at the forum.
