Lu Han breaking a Guinness Record for the most commented tweet

A former member of South Korean pop music band EXO set a new Guinness Record after a Weibo tweet he posted on Sept. 10, 2012 about Manchester United attracted 13,162,859 comments as of Aug. 5, 2014, making it the most commented microblog post ever.

Lu's popularity was evident after his decision to quit the Korean band. He notified the public about his decision on Weibo, which instantly ignited fans' enthusiasm. Fans joined the discussion by the second. Some 60 percent of the fans supported the star to go back to China.
