Title: Redefining Media Convergence for Websites Under Framework of the Belt and Road Initiative

Abstract

The development of the Belt and Road Initiative has provided rare opportunities for regional media cooperation and development.

The Belt and Road Initiative has garnered attention from the world's media, many along the routes, and provided numerous opportunities for cooperation and development among media organizations. The media should expand cooperation and promote multi-layer and all-round cooperation between local media and central media, traditional media and online media, as well as domestic media and overseas media. The media can tap into Sina's platform and technologies, laying a foundation for media cooperation.

The Belt and Road Initiative can bring business opportunities for the media and enterprises. The media should seize opportunities presented by wide consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits, promote business cooperation, deepen cooperation, integrate resources, participate in and share opportunities of the initiative. Sina is advancing the project of "Upgrading China" and can also take part in opportunities brought by the Belt and Road business cooperation.

Live webcast is becoming a novel content-generating and communication mode. The major events and progress during the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative can be live broadcast on the website. As modern communication technologies have changed rapidly, the media should take advantage of the new technologies and approaches to broaden their cooperation and development.
