Beijing to offer financing guarantees for sci-tech small businesses

To address financing difficulties of medium, small, and micro-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in science and technology as well as cultural and creative industries, Beijing Capital Investment & Guarantee Co., Ltd. has launched financing guarantee products tailored to their needs. The guaranteed amount goes to as high as 20 million yuan (US$3.02 million).

Of the four newly released products, "Honghu" targets science and technology MSMEs, "Changqingteng" is designed for cultural and creative enterprises, and "Zhengbaodai" helps foreign trade enterprises expand export.

"Honghu" includes five secondary products which provide financing support at different stages and with different lines of guarantee, covering the full course of developing a business. The guaranteed amount varies from 100,000 to 20 million yuan. Small and micro-sized enterprises will receive strong financial endorsement for as long as two years and as much as 20 million yuan. 

"Changqingteng" serves a wider range of businesses including culture, artwork, publishing media, film production, software development, comics and game, advertisement, design, and tourism. This line of products offers more individualized financing service to accommodate diversified needs. Potential clients are assessed for their value before receiving credit guarantees of as much as 10 million yuan.

"Zhengbaodai" requires neither mortgage nor pledge, and offers higher amount of financing than ordinary credit products. Foreign trade companies may receive the loan on the very day of their application.
