All schools in Hubei's provincial capital, Wuhan, are to set up joint working groups to fight campus bulling, according to the city's latest modification of its Regulations on the Protection of Minors.

The latest version is an update to rules which were first introduced in 1992.

The modification takes anti-school bullying, family protection, online supervision and the rights of special groups - including the disabled and left-behind children - into consideration.

Updated regulations also include an order for tighter oversight for preschools.

At the same time, the family protection regulations demand parents and guardians learn the right educational and monitoring approach to ensure their children's safety.

The measures include not allowing children under 12 to ride bicycles on the roads. Children under 16 are to be forbidden from driving a motorized bicycle in the streets. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed to be left alone inside a vehicle.

Kids are also going to be prohibited from live-streaming unless they gain consent from their parents.

Internet service providers are also going to be required to strengthen supervision to protect minors from unhealthy information.
