Chen Xi, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), attended a graduation ceremony of the Party school of the CPC Central Committee (Chinese Academy of Governance) on Saturday.
Chen, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and president of the school, presented certificates to the first group of 831 graduates for the 2018 spring semester.
Four student representatives made speeches at the ceremony, saying they will remain true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind, devoting themselves to implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC.
He Yiting, executive vice president of the school, chaired the event.
The Party school of the CPC Central Committee and the Chinese Academy of Governance were recently merged and formed a new institution, as approved by a plan on deepening reform of Party and state institutions released by the CPC Central Committee in March 2018.
