The man, surnamed Li, 18, is a Henan native. He and his colleague, a man surnamed Wu, dressed in Nazi uniforms which Li ordered in his hometown. The pair went to Xiaoshan Martyrs' Cemetery to take pictures at 10pm on Sunday, along with three other colleagues, according to the statement.

Li then posted the photos online, which were soon widely spread, causing "bad social influence."

Police launched an investigation and caught those involved, including Li, at 5pm on Monday after a netizen revealed their behavior online.

Li told police he's a military enthusiast and that he took photos while wearing the uniform "just for fun."

He has been detained for "picking a quarrel and making trouble." Further investigation is ongoing.
