The Luohu district government held the second session of its leading group on 'digital government' and 'smart Luohu' on May 9.

Presided over by Luo Yude, district mayor of the Luohu government, the conference urged all relevant departments and officials to ensure their work adhered to the highest possible standards to create the best and most advanced digital government and smart Luohu.

Li Xiaoning and Song Qiang, senior officials of the Luohu government, took part in the conference as well.

The attendees of the conference listened to reports on the progress of some projects related to the two key objectives. According to the conference, another three projects were added to the two endeavors — the intellectualization of the government service center (archives department), the building of the urban operation command center and the creation of a security monitoring system for the district kindergarten.

The conference also stressed that as the pilot and model zone of reform and opening-up, Luohu should be good at learning new methods and making thorough use of digital platforms to further improve the government departments' capacity. Through this, Luohu can then provide better services to the people and let them benefit from the conveniences of a smart city.

The conference encouraged all relevant departments to make concerted efforts to accelerate Luohu's construction of its two major projects.
