Luo Yude, head of the Luohu government, presided over a special session on June 19, listening to reports on a planning of the construction of an artificial intelligence (AI) town in Dawutong.

Senior officials of the Luohu government Li Xiaoning, Song Qiang, Wen Zhong and Zuo Jinping, as well as officials of relevant government departments of Luohu attended the meeting, and discussed concrete projects for AI town construction.

Participants agreed that the protection of ecology and overall environment should be prioritized, the opportunities of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area grasped, and Luohu’s strengths through its location at the core of the Greater Bay Area utilized to build modern, characteristic, picturesque industrial parks and a town featuring wide application of AI technology.

The meeting attached importance to communication with neighboring enterprises and residents to win their understanding and support for the project.
