Since the second national survey of pollution sources was launched in 2017, the Luohu district government has been strict in the handling of all statistics and the orderly arrangement of all relevant work.

So far, the collection of essential data based on a household survey in the district has finished, and the statistical department is now checking the data. A total of 529 enterprises have been included in the survey on pollution sources.

The data Luohu has submitted so far to the city and provincial authorities in charge of the survey has passed a quality check.

The statistical department of Luohu is now re-checking and amending the date according to the higher authority’s requirements, and has solved the problem with instability of the auditing system sometimes leading to the loss of data.

The other departments in charge of statistical quality control and supervision have also been invited to contribute ideas on further improvement of data quality.

The Luohu statistical department is paying special attention to using different materials and statistics as the foundation for cross reference so as to ensure all industrial polluters in the district are included in the survey.

The statistical department has also been making further checks of some key indices that seriously influence the final calculation results to eliminate any possible errors.

In the future, Luohu will closely follow the latest changes of auditing software and the work-related policies of the central government, and plans to check its data in order to meet the latest requirements to ensure the quality and reliability of its data.
