Tsinghua University and Peking University have Asia-Pacific's second- and third-largest ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) alumni graduates, according to a report released by wealth information provider Wealth-X.

The ultra–high-net-worth individual is defined as having a net worth in excess of $30 million, the report said.

The National University of Singapore occupies the top spot in the region.

The known UHNW alumni graduates and wealth of Tsinghua University are 74 and $103 billion, while those of Peking University are 67 and $116.

Although the National University of Singapore, which has 102 known UHNW alumni population with $14 billion in wealth, leads the Asia-Pacific, it is ranked 21st place in the world.

The United States, having the world's largest UHNW population, also dominates this ranking, with 17 of the world's top 20 universities by number of UHNW alumni from the country.

Harvard University, the absolute winner in the ranking, has more than 1,830 known UHNW alumni with a total wealth of $1,889 billion.
