The Luohu government held the third conference of the leading teams for the digitalization of government and the smart Luohu project on Sept 3.

Luo Yude, head of the district government, presided over the meeting which was attended by other senior government officials, including Fan Defan, Li Xiaoning and Song Qiang, as well as heads of relevant government departments.

According to the three-year work plan of the project (2019-2021), Luohu is expected to harness the new generation of information technology to create new management and public service platforms in the fields of government affairs, public security, education, medical care and transportation. New technologies will be deployed to create a high-speed and stable government affairs network, flexible and safe cloud data center, unified and universal internet-of-things, as well as platforms for smart city and digital government.

The purpose of these projects is to raise the quality of urban management, improve the convenience and quality of public services, and enhance the operational efficiency of the government.

The meeting encouraged relevant government departments to try out applications of these new technologies in grassroots social management and public service, and accelerate the digitalization of government work.

The meeting also concluded that officials need to put the people's interests first and pay more attention to improving business environment of the district.
