A total of 627 judicial staff were investigated for work-related crimes by Chinese procuratorates from January to September, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Wednesday.

Among those investigated were 43 staff at the county level or above during the period, the SPP said.

The SPP has strengthened the guidance for local procuratorates to deal with work-related crime cases of judicial personnel by dispatching guidance teams to help local authorities and publishing typical cases.

Procuratorial organs have been establishing and improving the mechanisms for the coordination between supervisory and procuratorial work, the SPP said.
