Beijing's Chaoyang announces 2019 Technology Fast 20 winners

On Wednesday, the award ceremony of the inaugural 2019 Technology Fast 20 and Tech Stars of Chaoyang district was held in Beijing. The event was jointly hosted by the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park of Chaoyang district and Deloitte China.
The Technology Fast 50 Awards of China, which was inaugurated in 2005, is a subset of the Deloitte Technology Fast Awards. Since 1995, the global accounting firm has sponsored the awards each year in various countries such as the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Japan, Australia, and China.
"This award comprises 2019 Technology Fast 20 and Tech Stars of Chaoyang district of Beijing," said a person in charge of the Zhongguancun Science Park of Chaoyang. "The former is set to honor enterprises of rapid growth and continuous innovation, and the latter is aimed at enterprises leading in specialized areas and having overwhelming growth potential."
Enterprises selected are entitled to value-added services in listing and auditing, tax planning, financial counselling, health consulting, risk controlling and optimization, and planning of stock market incentives. They will also enjoy relevant preferential policies of Chaoyang district, as well as attention and support from investment institutions and banks, which will help further upgrade their core competitiveness, attract talents, etc.
An official of the Zhongguancun Science Park of Chaoyang district said that this award presents a snapshot of the innovative development of Chaoyang, which is home to 60 international technological cooperation bases and 71 incubators and co-working spaces.
Chanyang district also covers 122 regional headquarters of multinational companies (70% of Beijing), 3,500 national high-tech enterprises, and 157 international R&D institutions such as Merck, Siemens, Tesla, Saudi Aramco, and Nestle, the official said, adding that years of development has seen Chaoyang giving play to the pathfinding role of advanced industry, R&D innovation, and integral development demo centers.
This award also provides new opportunities for this district to concentrate efforts in expediting the development of international R&D innovation clusters, the official said. By formulating policies for advanced industries, the Chaoyang district government will build platforms to foster and serve industries and further improve business environment, thus supporting the enterprises' development.
