Recently, the Luohu government notified the public about the opening times of some major public parks and scenic spots in its jurisdictions, along with some suggestions for visitors, in a bid to protect public health during the epidemic.

All visitors need to wear masks and have their temperature measured before entering the parks. Those with a temperature higher than 37.3 C will not be allowed in. While in the parks, visitors should avoid gatherings and follow the instructions of the park staff.

According to the notice, Wutongshan Park, which was closed on Jan. 26, was reopened on March 2 from 6am to 9pm every day, after the Guangdong provincial government lowered its emergency response mechanism from level one to level two. However, entrances at Wutongshan village and Xiantong Sports Park remain blocked. The rock-climbing area, cafes, teahouses and exhibition halls in the park also remain closed.

Meanwhile, Taojinshan Greenway has had around 500 visitors per day on average, and the number of visitors hit 5,000 over the previous weekend. The Luohu Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau said it will strengthen management and control of the flow of people. A maximum of 3,000 people will be allowed in the park at the same time. The children's entertainment park and its parking lots remain closed.

Honghu Park is open from 6:30 am to 11pm every day; Donghu Park opens from 7am to 10pm every day; while Xianhu Botanical Garden and Hongfa Temple are still closed. All visitors to the two parks must show their health code and register on the park's online platform.
