An international talent community in the central area of Huairou Science City in Beijing has begun earthwork construction, and is expected to be completed in June 2022, according to the Huairou District Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
The residential community enjoys a convenient location, as it is close to major scientific devices, cross-research platforms, science and technology parks, international schools, and other supporting public facilities
The community covers an area of 16.4 hectares, including more than 11 hectares of construction land. Its construction will be carried out in two phases, with the first phase covering a construction area of 4.47 hectares for 901 apartments.
Once built, the community will meet the diversified housing needs of scientists and talents settling down in Huairou. The community will offer short-term and long-term rentals. Short-term rentals feature independent living spaces, which range from 35 to 40 square meters complete with amenities for single residents. Long-term rentals provide one, two, or three-room apartments, measuring from 45 square meters to 135 square meters, for residents with families.
