Luohu Talent Service Center opened on Nov. 1, the annual Shenzhen Talent Day.


During the opening ceremony, the Luohu government awarded certificates to participants in this year's Jingying talent program. Liu Zhiyong and Lai Wu awarded Jingying talent certificates to 11 recipients, demonstrating the district's careful attention to talented professionals and technicians.


Senior officials of Luohu and Shenzhen, including Luohu government head Liu Zhiyong, Lai Wu, head of organization department of the Luohu Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Xing Hui, Party chief and president of the Shenzhen Talent Group, took part in the ceremony along with 80 representatives of enterprises, key industrial parks and government talent-related departments.


The Luohu Talent Service Center is set to become a comprehensive service platform for talent in Luohu, making it easier for the district to attract talented people and support their development.


Luohu has continuously advanced this work, having always attached significance to attracting talents and providing them with the best development environment. Its most recent initiative has been to roll out the Jingying talent program, which specifies the kinds of talented workforce Luohu needs and how the district will support their development.


So far Luohu has attracted nearly 400 talented people, specializing in finance, commerce, modern services, and other industries through the program.


Lin Jian, a doctorate holder in auto technology with Baoneng Motor, spoke as the representative of the 11 new winners of the Jingying talent certificate.


Lin said that while he has worked in many places, Luohu has been unique as an old urban area with new vitality.


He said that Luohu has developed attractive education and medical care services and offers pro-business policies and other services to new talent, as well as a first-class business environment.


During the ceremony, the Luohu government awarded talent service station licenses to seven companies.
