The International Academy of Red Cross and Red Crescent has recently started enrollment for a year-long course to cultivate executive personnel in the humanitarian sector, according to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF).

The course on humanitarian affairs, the second edition of its kind, is scheduled to start in October this year and plans to enroll 60 students, said the CRCF.

Eligible applicants to the course include senior executives of Red Cross organizations, heads of charitable organizations, heads of media outlets concerned with humanitarian and public welfare undertakings, among others.

Co-founded by the Red Cross Society of China, Soochow University and the CRCF in 2019, the International Academy of Red Cross and Red Crescent is the first Red Cross academy in the world.
