The Beijing Municipal Administration Center of Parks released a guidance document Thursday for the appreciation of colorful leaves in the city, recommending 20 places in the city's gardens and parks.
Red leaves at the Fragrant Hills is a famed seasonal pleasure for citizens. The park has been seeing an increasing number of visitors during weekends since Oct. 15. The park requires online reservations and limits the visitor number to 75% of its total capacity for COVID-19 prevention considerations.
In addition to the Fragrant Hills, the Beijing parks administration also recommended the Summer Palace, the Beijing Botanical Garden, and several other locations for leaves viewing.
The administration and the parks will continue to release recommendations for admiring leaves through their social media platforms.
