Luohu district started organizing activities from Nov 21 as part of the Shenzhen Park Cultural Season. The opening ceremony of the serial activities was held in the Taojin Hill Greenway on the day.

The event was jointly hosted by the Shenzhen and Luohu urban management and comprehensive law enforcement bureaus.

While addressing the opening ceremony, Hu Weiheng, director of the Luohu urban management and comprehensive law enforcement bureau, said the Taojin Hill Greenway meanders in a luxuriant hill overlooking a reservoir, and since it was opened on Sept 27, 2019, the greenway has become a popular outdoor activity place for residents.

Hu said that he hopes the public can enjoy various park cultural activities and enjoy more fun of life during this park cultural season.

The purpose of the activities is to promote park construction, enhance the quality of park services, and create brands of public cultural activities of parks in Shenzhen. The activities include live performances, operas, puppet shows, and flower exhibitions, among other events.
