Cultural and entertainment venues reopened in parts of Luohu

Indoor cultural and entertainment venues in Luohu, except those in the jurisdictions under the Liantang, Qingshuihe, Cuizhu, and Sungang sub-district offices, can reopen in an orderly way from Jan. 20, according to a notice the office ofthe COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters of Luohu issued on the night of Jan. 19.

The notice says that according to the changing situations of the epidemic prevention and control in the district, the office of the COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters of Luohu has reviewed its previous notice. Therefore, it decided to give the green light to reopen cultural and entertainment venues in the district starting from Jan. 20, except those in Liantang, Qingshuihe, Cuizhu, and Sungang, four areas where strict epidemic prevention and control measures are still being carried out.

Indoor cultural and entertainment venues refer to sauna rooms, massage rooms, foot therapy rooms, spas, beauty salons, teahouses, chess, card rooms, mahjong halls, internet cafes, KTVs, theatres, cinemas, fitness rooms, board game rooms, gymnasiums, and natatoriums.

Reopened venues must strictly measure all customers’ temperatures, check their health codes, and set the ceiling of the number of customers at 50% of their largest handling capacity.

Only customers holding negative nucleic acid test results issued 72 hours before can be admitted to these venues under the premise that they take the initiative to keep social distancing and follow all necessary epidemic protocols.

According to the notice, the operators of the aforementioned venues take primary responsibility for the epidemic prevention and control work.
