Earth Hour is observed on March 26 every year. At 8:30 pm that day, many landmark buildings under the KingKey Group in Shenzhen turned off their spotlights for one hour.

The World Wildlife Fund proposed the activity in 2007 to call on people to save energy, be responsible for protecting Earth, and collectively respond to environmental issues and global warming.

In the second half of this year, the KingKey 100 tower alone has saved 34,000 kilowatts of electricity by turning off its spotlights. It is estimated that the building can save about 120,000 kilowatts of power this year. The KingKey Group also called on its partners and clients to save electricity and water actively.
