The mini-program Jiankangbao (Beijing Health Kit), Beijing's online system for checking personal health information related to COVID-19, was updated to make it easier to check health QR code, nucleic acid test results, and vaccination status on one page, said Peng Xuehai, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, at a press conference held on Wednesday.

Information on the latest nucleic test result and the time of the test result will be presented on the same page as the health QR code, to better facilitate people's entry into public space, said Peng.

In order to better present nucleic acid test results, the new Health Kit has expanded its database to provide information in the last 30 days, Peng said.

As part of its efforts to better serve people without smartphones, such as the elderly and children, the newly upgraded mini-program adds a search function, allowing working staff to use their phones to check the health information of those with identity card number, Peng said.

Notably, one person's information is not kept on another person's phone, and it automatically disappears 10 seconds after a search, so as to better protect personal information, Peng said.
