The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will cut hotel quarantine for COVID-19 from seven days to three days for overseas arrivals, Chief Executive John Lee announced at a press conference on Monday, as part of a new COVID-19 restriction ease plan that set to take into effect on August 12.

Under the new measures, people who finish 3 days of hotel quarantine will still spend four days of home medical observation.
