In his speech, Yu Tao, vice president of CICG, noted that the world is facing increasingly complex and intertwined challenges and risks, and the development gap is widening. He stressed that achieving modernization has become a universal pursuit of human society and the right path to promoting human progress.

The Chinese approach to modernization has promoted high-quality development, pursued common prosperity for all, and advocated for cultural exchange and mutual learning among different civilizations, providing new opportunities for global growth and prosperity, Yu said.

Yu also said that CICG will take the event as an opportunity to further strengthen exchange and cooperation with institutions and intellectuals from various countries, and establish more platforms for exchange and communication between Chinese and foreign think tanks. He said that CICG will contribute to the development of Chinese modernization and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
