On March 27, the 2023 Legal Forum on High-quality Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held in Luohu District of Shenzhen.

During the forum, government decision-making advisory institutions, venture capital institutions, science and innovation enterprises, lawyers, and other professionals held in-depth discussions on development trends regarding science and innovation enterprises in the Greater Bay Area as well as solutions to legal issues related to intellectual property rights, finance, and enterprise listings.

As one of the hosts of the forum, the Justice Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality strives to build a platform for legal affairs cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, promote the convergence of laws and rules between Shenzhen and Hong Kong and Macao, and serve the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Luohu district government, another host of the event, said that it would focus on the interconnection of international institutions and rules and make every effort to build a new type of open economy. The district will uphold the rule-of-law thinking, constantly improve the standardization of government administrative behavior, modernize social governance capacity, and continuously improve the law-based business environment.
