A literary contest is being held to celebrate the selection of Tiantai county, eastern China's Zhejiang province, as the permanent venue of the Hehe Culture Global Forum.
The contest is for the second line of a Chinese couplet, with the first line as"The Permanent Venue of the Hehe Culture Global Forum" in English, or "和合文化全球论坛永久举办地" in Chinese. According to the organizers, the second line can be rendered into any language that poetically or rhythmically matches the first, in the forms of couplet, haiku, or other formats.
The county has been called the cradle of Hehe culture, which advocates for peace and harmony and promotes cultural exchange and common development around the world.
One gold award, four silver awards, and eight bronze awards will be granted for the Chinese track and the foreign language track in total. Winners of the gold, silver, and bronze awards will receive prizes of 10,000 yuan, 3,000 yuan, and 1,000 yuan, respectively.

The entries will go through online voting and expert review. The number of votes will account for 10% of the total score, and the expert review will account for the remaining 90%.
