In recent years, Beijing's market regulatory authorities have rolled out over 100 significant measures aimed at deepening market access system reforms, enhancing regulatory and enforcement mechanisms, and cultivating a pro-business environment.

A standout initiative is the introduction of a "one-stop service" model. This approach enables businesses to seamlessly apply for business licenses and relevant permits through a single application. This expedited procedure incorporates parallel review and approval procedures, enabling businesses to obtain their licenses and permits simultaneously.

The "one-stop service" model has been expanded to various sectors, encompassing medical device sales, pharmacies, restaurants, beverage shops, supermarkets, (convenience stores), bookstores, clinics, private kindergartens, and accounting firms.

By integrating licenses and permits, Beijing strives to augment government efficiency and extend better support to enterprises, diminishing the complexities and time required for businesses to navigate administrative procedures.

Additionally, the Beijing market regulatory authorities are presently engaged in the development of guidelines for anti-monopoly compliance pertaining to platform algorithms. This is intended to prevent and address monopolistic practices by platform companies and encourage the healthy, sustainable growth of the platform economy.
