CTIS signs cooperation agreement on overseas promotion with PHEI

Beijing Chinese-Foreign Translation & Information Service (CTIS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Publishing House of Electronics Industry (PHEI) on its overseas promotion and communication on Friday at the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF). At the event, the overseas promotion of "Wuling: A Trailblazer in Automobile Manufacturing" began.

The publishing industry has become more internationalized in an era of globalization, said Wang Chuanchen, chief editor of the China Industry and Information Technology Publishing and Media Group Co., Ltd., In the past 40 years, the PHEI has leveraged its unique resources in the industry and information technology field to promote approximately 1,000 copyrights overseas. The cooperation with CTIS will explore a new model of international cooperation on publishing, with concerted efforts from authors and Chinese manufacturing enterprises, Wang added. 

CTIS Chairman Yang Yuqian introduced the fruitful results of the CTIS in the publishing, translation, and overseas promotion of books. Based on the PHEI's advantages and achievements in the industry and information technology field, the two sides have initiated overseas promotion of the inaugural cooperation program – the book "Wuling: A Trailblazer in Automobile Manufacturing." More efforts will be made by the two sides to boost the overseas influence of the Chinese manufacturing industry. 

Epitomizing the company Wuling's development, the book "Wuling: A Trailblazer in Automobile Manufacturing" will serve as a window for people all around the world to better understand China's manufacturing industry and China's stories, said Xu Feiyun, deputy Party secretary of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile. 

The author of the book Lin Xueping said that the international development of Wuling has set an example in establishing an overseas presence for Chinese manufacturing companies.
