After four years of construction, three cultural landmarks in Beijing's sub-center – a theater, a library, and a museum – have recently passed completion acceptance. They will become fully operational by the end of this year, according to their investor, Beijing Investment Group Co., Ltd., on Thursday.

Construction officially began on Oct. 28, 2019. The three major structures, with a total construction scale of about 300,000 square meters, adhere to the five development concepts of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing."

These concepts are fully embodied in the three buildings, reflecting the construction standards of Beijing's sub-center Tongzhou. This includes a global vision, adherence to international standards, distinct Chinese characteristics, and a high level of design and positioning, according to Chen Hongda, director of major projects at Beijing Investment Group and general manager of the three structure departments.

The three landmarks are located in a cultural, leisure, and entertainment complex for citizens northwest of Beijing's sub-center, near Green Heart Forest Park. These open-wall buildings will be accessible to the public in the future, becoming a high-quality cultural and leisure space for residents.

Additionally, with Beijing's sub-center Tongzhou serving as a focal point for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the high-quality public cultural services offered by these landmarks are expected to make a significant regional impact.
