On Nov. 20, five Party members at the State Grid Chifeng Power Supply Company shared their experience in safety protection during the construction of the ongoing Tianshan-Taiben 220 kV transmission line project in a Party Day activity.

The transmission line project is a significant project that will improve the power supply in Chifeng city. The project started in July and its facilities are expected to become operational by the end of this year. In mid-August, a temporary Party branch was established to coordinate the project. The Party branch included Party members from different units involved in the project, such as design, supervision, and construction. They formed a small team of five Party members who are responsible for tackling the key tasks of the project and ensuring its quality and safety.

To promote safety and facilitate the organized implementation of key projects, the Party Committee of the State Grid Chifeng Power Supply Company has incorporated the Party building work to support infrastructure construction. Party members have played a core role in the project team, responsible for ensuring safety and serving as role models for other workers. They also help to raise safety awareness among their colleagues and ensure safety during production.

In mid-November, the Party branch organized a special activity for Party members to learn and improve their safety knowledge and skills. The Party members studied rules and regulations, shared their work experiences, and identified the potential safety risks and mistakes in their work. They also raised the safety awareness and improved safety practices of the other workers. Their contribution has facilitated the smooth and safe construction of the transmission project.
