Ahead of the 32nd International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Sunday, the Communist Party of China members at the State Grid Chifeng Power Supply Company provided door-to-door services to ensure power supply for disadvantaged households, including elderly people living alone, children in difficulties, and persons with disabilities.

The Zhang family is among those receiving voluntary services from the team. Mr. Zhang, aged 59, struggles with cerebral thrombosis and cares for his ill mother and disabled wife. After learning about Zhang's dire straits, the team promptly conducted checks to ensure safe electricity usage at his home.

To better fulfill its social responsibilities and protect the rights and interests of vulnerable groups, the company has actively established a power supply service network. This ensures access to power for all disadvantaged households and rural nursing homes in its jurisdiction. In addition, the team has promoted knowledge of the safe use of electricity and heightened public awareness of electrical safety.

Since the campaign began, the company has provided on-site voluntary services to 21 vulnerable households and identified 17 potential electrical hazards. Moreover, the company plans to collaborate with local communities on various activities to support persons with disabilities, aiming to create a more accessible environment.
