As the winter season sets in, the State Grid Chifeng Power Supply Company in Inner Mongolia autonomous region is revving up efforts to expand service channels to ensure power supply in rural areas under an "enterprise + government" scheme.

To ensure that people in villages have access to electricity, the State Grid's Chifeng branch has dispatched workers to provide one-stop services without the need for customers to travel long distances beyond their villages.

The scheme involves a pilot program the company rolled out in April. According to the program, four power supply stations, in partnership with township governments, built village-based service points where intelligent terminals and equipment were set up to serve people's needs.

In November, two service points were recognized by the State Grid as model units for power supply services in rural areas.

The program has enabled the company to expand service channels and improve its service network in rural areas. Thanks to the program, the company has strengthened collaboration with townships and villages in information sharing, power facility inspection, and the identification of safety hazards. This collaboration has facilitated the coordination among multiple departments in power supply.

The company will conduct routine operation at service points to ensure full coverage of its power supply service network in rural areas in Chifeng.
