ChainMaker, also known as Chang'an Chain, an enterprise blockchain platform developed by the Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing (BABEC), has once again secured the top spot in China's domestic market share for blockchain infrastructure, according to the White Paper on Blockchain (2023) released recently by the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT).
According to the white paper, China's domestic blockchain products captured an impressive 84% of the Chinese market in 2023. Among them, ChainMaker, known for its independent and controllable blockchain software and hardware technology, continues to grow steadily, ranking first in market share and surpassing foreign blockchain underlying platforms.
ChainMaker has played a crucial role in supporting the construction of new digital infrastructure across major Chinese cities, including Beijing's world-class megacity government directory chain system. To date, ChainMaker has been updated to version 16, and its amount of open-source code has exceeded 2 million lines.
