Recently, Luohu district introduced a program titled "Enhancing Family Education in Luohu" to foster better collaboration between families, schools, and the community in nurturing students.

In 2022, Shenzhen established the Shenzhen Academy of Family Education, and Luohu issued the "Family Education Guideline." Luohu district took the lead in Shenzhen by establishing a district-level family education guidance & service center. The Center commenced operations in 2021 and has provided targeted assistance and guidance to thousands of families.

Last year, Luohu's family education guidance & service center initiated parent consultation workshops dedicated to addressing issues such as school refusal, dropout, depression, and internet addiction among children. Additionally, for parents with special needs, such as those facing a crisis in parent-child relationships, the center provided one-on-one family counseling.

As of Nov. 8, 2023, the center assisted 86 families, conducting 182 consultations totaling 273 hours.
