On Feb. 26th, the "Enterprise Gathering in Luohu: Business Associations Aid High-Quality Economic Development in Luohu" event took place in Shenzhen's Luohu district. Sponsored by the Luohu District Civil Affairs Bureau and Luohu District Enterprise Service Center, the event was organized by the Luohu District Federation of Industry and Commerce.
During the event, Luohu unveiled the "Ten Measures to Encourage Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations to Support High-Quality Development of Industries." The objective is to facilitate investment attraction and enhance services for businesses in Luohu.
Luohu's "Ten Measures" encompass support for targeted entities, spatial assistance, encouragement for participation in investment attraction, recruitment of professional talents, proactive services for local enterprises, encouragement to host significant industry events, mobilization of businesses for international exhibitions, and support for leadership in industry standards and exemplary models. Through policy backing and resource integration, these measures motivate business associations to act as bridges, facilitating economic development in various sectors in Luohu.
Approximately 50 representatives from industry associations attended the event, including the Shenzhen Software Industry Association, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Robotics Industry Alliance, the Luohu District Digital Economy Industry Association, and the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association. Associations representing industries like low-altitude economy and logistics supply chains were also present.
Chambers of commerce and business associations play an indispensable role in Luohu's social governance and are pivotal in supporting high-quality economic development. Currently, Luohu hosts 58 municipal-level business associations and 28 district-level business associations, serving over 2,400 member enterprises. Over the past three years, these associations actively engaged in investment attraction and enterprise services, resulting in the implementation of 23 projects in Luohu and the organization of more than 30 pro-enterprise events.
