Areas such as Sanlitun and Chaowai Street have been earmarked for urban renewal projects to transform them into vibrant neighborhoods with new business forms.
As part of the industrial upgrading, the district will undertake the renovation of old factory buildings in the 751 D-Park area and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional commercial areas like Chaoyang Joy City.
To improve the living environment, the district will focus on the renovation of old and dilapidated residential areas to provide better living conditions for residents.
The district plans to carry out significant upgrades on facilities and urban infrastructure, including the renovation of 86 kilometers of heating pipelines in 43 communities and the addition of 4,500 new parking spots.
To upgrade public spaces, Chaoyang will initiate the reconstruction of 10 alleys and backstreets, alongside the building of 19 kilometers of green pathways.
