The 14th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) will launch a film crossover event called "Movie + Energy Aggregation" from April 19 to 21, 2024. The three-day event will be held in an extended area of the main venue of the Beijing Film Market located in Langyuan Station, Chaoyang district.

Centered around the themes of "movies, technology, and consumption," the event will offer visitors immersive digital exhibitions, outdoor screenings, new intellectual property (IP) designs, and film and television crossover markets. The aim is to create a cross-border cultural carnival and promote new forms of cultural consumption.

The event will kick off at noon on April 19 and run until 8:00 P.M. on April 21. No tickets or reservations are required. Renowned film and television companies such as China Film Archive, CCTV6 Film Channel, Douban, Action Bar, Linghe Culture, and MaggcoZone, will present their official cultural and creative merchandise and activities.

The event also focuses on the integration of film, television, and digitalization, providing large-scale script production, AI digital interaction, old movies, and movie digital interactive devices.

In addition, Langyuan Station has partnered with various parties to host a series of movie-themed seminars, including the Beijing Film and Television Post-production Industry High-quality Development Forum, the Beijing-Hangzhou Film and Creation Dialogue, and Cultural Creativity Exchange.
