The 2024 Luohu Social Organization Public Welfare Venture Capital Competition Evaluation Meeting took place on April 16th, selecting 18 public welfare projects for financial support.
This year's competition assessed and funded projects across ten categories, encompassing elderly and children care, economic development assistance, community governance, rural revitalization, Shenzhen-Hong Kong integration, and environmental protection. The objective is to actively steer social organizations towards addressing residents' needs and delivering precise and professional social services.
It's reported that the competition received 30 project applications. Based on their scores, the competition granted first, second, and third prizes, with selected projects receiving financial support of 50,000 yuan, 40,000 yuan, and 30,000 yuan, respectively.
Among the chosen projects are "AI Nursing Home for Elderly in Special Need," "Community Integration Festival," and "Starlight High School Assistance Program for Rural Revitalization."
